The Showplace

The Venue

Our elegant new Community Commerce Center offers a conference and meeting facility unique in Southwest Wisconsin. Located on a bluff with a stunning river view, the conference center offers two formal meeting rooms, a pair of outdoor patios and a state of the art kitchen.

Gay Mills is at the heart of the Kickapoo Valley, known for the steep wooded hills that made Wisconsin’s Driftless Region famous. The valley boasts excellent fly fishing streams and a wide variety of game. Silent sports aficionados love bicycling its hills and paddling the winding Kickapoo River. Visitors can explore the karst geology, the rare flora and fauna and learn from local artisans about everything from pottery to yarn.

In the Community Center, the main meeting room seats 310 in theater style, or more than 160 at dinner rounds. Breakout sessions are accommodated in the adjacent board room and in indoor and outdoor patios. Teleconferencing capabilities are available.

The conference facility is also home to the Kickapoo Culinary Center, a food business incubator; the Gays Mills public library, and village offices.
